HotDropFPS Giveaway Terms of Service

By entering any HotDropFPS giveaway, drop, PC drop, prize drop, promotion, contest, or similar event hosted by HotDropFPS, collectively referred to as a “Giveaway,” you agree to these Terms of Service (“TOS”). Please read them carefully.

Description Phrasing / Terminology

HotDropFPS may refer to giveaways using different community-friendly terms, including but not limited to “giveaway,” “drop,” “PC drop,” “PC drops,” “prize drop,” “community drop,” or similar phrasing.

These terms are used to describe the hosting method, promotion style, or community event format. Regardless of the wording used, all such events are considered Giveaways under these Terms of Service unless separate official rules are provided.

Use of the word “drop” does not guarantee a specific prize type, prize value, delivery method, or winner selection method. Prize details, entry methods, deadlines, and eligibility requirements will be listed on the hosting giveaway site or in the official rules for that specific Giveaway.

1. Eligibility

Age & Residency

• You must be at least 18 years old at the time of entry.
• You must reside in a jurisdiction where participation is not prohibited.

No Purchase Necessary

• No purchase or donation is required to enter, except where explicitly stated and permitted by law.

2. How to Enter

Each Giveaway’s official rules will spell out which of these methods apply:

Watch-Time Score

Earn score for every minute you watch HotDropFPS livestreams on Twitch and/or YouTube.

Example: you need 40,000 score to participate; score is earned by watch-time, score raffles, and channel point redemptions while live.

Score Codes

Score Codes are acquired by accumulating score during HotDropFPS livestreams. Score may be earned through watch-time, score raffles, channel point redemptions, and other approved live-stream activities.

To receive Score Codes, users must request them through a Discord direct message to HotDropFPS. The user must include their current score or score range so it can be verified.

Example: if a user has accumulated 160,000 score, they may message HotDropFPS on Discord with something like:

“@HotDropFPS my score is 160k.”

If the active giveaway awards 1 Score Code per 40,000 score, that user would be sent 4 codes.

Score Codes must be requested before the giveaway deadline. Unrequested, expired, incorrect, duplicate, or unverifiable codes may be considered invalid.

Social Engagement

Follow, like, share, or comment on designated posts on HotDropFPS social-media channels.

No Cost Entry

No cost is required to enter any Giveaway.

Special Actions

Completing short forms, answering trivia questions, or other tasks as specified in the Giveaway’s Official Rules.

Entries received after the stated deadline or by any other means are void.

3. Winner Selection & Notification

Winner Selection

• The winner is randomly drawn from all entry methods completed on the hosting giveaway site.

Notification

• HotDropFPS will notify winners within 7 days via the method specified, such as email, Twitch whisper, Discord DM, or another listed contact method.
• You must respond within 72 hours to claim your prize, or we may select an alternate winner.

4. Prizes & Delivery

Prize Details

• Each Giveaway’s rules will list the exact prize(s), quantity, and approximate retail value, when available.

Prize Substitution

• HotDropFPS reserves the right to substitute any prize, or part of a prize, when necessary due to availability, shipping restrictions, regional limitations, country-specific laws, import/export rules, retailer limitations, commerce restrictions, or fulfillment issues.
• A substituted prize may include a similar item, an alternate model, store credit, gift card, cash equivalent, or another prize option chosen by HotDropFPS at its discretion.
• When reasonably possible, HotDropFPS will attempt to provide a substitute prize of similar value, but exact brand, model, color, specifications, retailer, or availability are not guaranteed.

Taxes, Fees & Prize Reporting

• HotDropFPS will cover applicable sales tax, import tax, customs fees, import duties, and similar required fees associated with purchasing, shipping, importing, or delivering the prize to the winner.

• The winner is responsible for any required prize reporting to their proper government agency, tax authority, or local jurisdiction. This may include reporting the prize value as income or as otherwise required by the laws where the winner lives.

• HotDropFPS is not responsible for completing the winner’s personal tax filings, income reporting, or government reporting obligations. Winners should review their local rules or speak with a tax professional if they are unsure of their responsibilities.

Transferability

• Prizes are non-transferable, except where a team-based cash prize is split among members.

5. Disqualification

HotDropFPS reserves the right to disqualify you and void your entries if you:

• Violate these TOS or the Official Rules.
• Cheat, manipulate, or otherwise seek to unfairly influence the outcome.
• Use hate speech, excessive profanity, or otherwise breach Twitch/YouTube community guidelines.
• Provide false, incomplete, or misleading information.
• Use third-party tools to engage in extra entries.
• Attempt to bot, circumvent, abuse, or cheat the score system.

6. Publicity & Privacy

Publicity

• By entering, you grant HotDropFPS permission to use your name, username, likeness, and entry content for promotional purposes without additional compensation.

Privacy

• Your personal data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy at /privacy-policy. We do not sell or share your information outside of prize fulfillment and legal requirements.

7. Release & Limitation of Liability

By participating you agree to release and hold harmless Chris Hylton, HotDropFPS, Twitch, YouTube, Discord, and their affiliates from any liability arising out of participation in the Giveaway or the acceptance, use, or misuse of any prize.

8. Platform Disclaimer & Jurisdiction

This Giveaway is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Twitch, YouTube, Discord, or any social-media platform.

Giveaways are open worldwide, subject to local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited.

These TOS and any disputes arising hereunder are governed by the laws applicable in the entrant’s jurisdiction.
